The Sea Angling Diary mobile app allows people fishing in the sea to record their fishing activity and catches. It has been developed to support the Sea Angling Diary Project, a UK government-funded study on the impact of recreational sea angling in the UK undertaken by Substance and Cefas. It has been running since 2016.
The app is only available to UK residents who sign up to take part in the Sea Angling Diary Project and is available on Android and iOS. It has been designed to enable participants to record sea angling locations, sessions, methods and catches on the go and with ease. The app is synced to participants’ online diary tools so you can use whichever is most convenient at the time!

Good idea, but poor execution. Works fine on PC via webpage, but App is now useless on phone, used to be OK. Reported synch problems and worked with developers to resolve, but to no avail. Have now uninstalled it from phone as it became literally a waste of space. Happy to try again if/when problems are fixed in a new version. I had V3.5.

New update, cleared the cache and it is still as bad as ever. Took three attempts to login due to it closing down and when I did get in it have none of my info before closing again. It now won't stay open. This is the fourth device from different manufacturers I have tried it on and it doesn't work with any.

Downloaded the app, keeps crashing, won't let me log in, awful experience, same as the web site when that first started, that was unusable too, I thought the app might allow me to be able to start logging catches again, oh well, I wish I could have helped!
